Dartex BDM appointed Vice Chair of BHTA Beds & Support Surfaces Section


The members of this section meet with the intention of raising awareness, improving education and to provide appropriate preventative interventions and suitable equipment to assist in the achieving the overall aim of the reduction of avoidable pressure ulcers in the NHS.
Examples of projects undertaken include the creation of 'Protect, Rinse, Dry' guidelines, aimed at encouraging correct cleaning protocols for support surfaces.
Dawn has been an active member of the section since joining Dartex in 2012, is looking forward to taking on her new position.
