Dartex acquires Transfer Coated division of JB Broadley

Arrangements were concluded this morning for Dartex Coatings Ltd to buy the Transfer Coated division of JB Broadley from Allied Textiles. As part of these arrangements, Dartex will take control of the transfer coating capabilities on the JB Broadley site and will have access to all the skills and experiences of the existing business and staff. This will ensure that customer requirements continue to be met in full.
The production of direct coated products, for both air bags and other markets are unaffected by these arrangements and will continue to be supplied by JB Broadley under the management of Mark Haigh.
Commenting on the transaction, Shaun Ambrose-Jones, Chief Executive of Dartex Coatings, said “We are delighted to have reached agreement with Allied in this transaction, It gives us access to a broader range of products, capabilities and customers, and will allow us to build on our established reputation for customer service and innovation.”
